I will be working with Pastor Rusty Maddox at Harbor View Chapel in Corpus Christi, TX. I look forward to this job so that I maybe mentored and trained to see what a pastor in the U.S. really does. I just really don't like abandoning my dream but it seems like all the doors here are closed. I will still come down with teams, and also when we do activities.
I will still have Haiti in my mind and will become the Executive Director for Hope in the Light Ministry. I just pray that we can be able to run the organization as well as my father has run it for the last 7 years. I just pray I can run it as well as he has. My son Brian also is on the Autism spectrum and while we have been here we haven't really found anywhere to send him. My daughter's school is expensive at a Christian school here in Haiti. There have been so many things that have gone wrong since we got here that I really don't know what God is doing. I will look forward to see what God is going to do.
Please if you still have teams interested in coming then we will still facilitate those trips. This does not mean that the mission will stop. We have staff on the ground to be able to do the work here in Haiti. I really don't know what God is doing. We appreciate your support and we need it more then ever. We need to build up support to do the work here in Haiti and you are a vital part to this work. I just pray that many of you won't cut your support of the work here in Haiti. Now we need it more then ever. We need prayer to show us what direction the organization is going in. And where we will be going in the future. Hope in the Light Ministry will continue I will just be in a different role. This is just a transitional period for all of us to get through. Please we need prayer.
Take Care and God Bless
Lance
